Top 10 Connecticut HS baseball players in Class of 2024
10. Carson Swaim, RHP/OF, Fairfield Warde
Leading the way for Fairfield Warde’s three-peat state championship is senior pitcher Carson Swaim, a 5-foot-9, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, ranked 15th in the state in the position. Swaim committed to Fordham University, a Division 1 school in New York City, the winningest program in NCAA history. With an 86 mph fastball and an 80 mph changeup, he’ll certainly be someone to watch as he tries to win a third state championship for the Mustangs.
Had a great day today at the plate and on the Bump. Went 3-5 with 2 singles a Double 4 RBI’s 2 SB and a HBP. On the mound 1 IP for the close with 2ks and a slap grounder right back at me for the 3rd out. @BaseballUCT @BaseballU @WardeBaseball pic.twitter.com/M9i4PPzSze
