Women’s Basketball Trio Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. – On Tuesday afternoon, three Capital University women’s basketball players were announced as receiving Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators organization. Honored this year were juniors Laney Murphy and Bri O’Connor and sophomore Samaree Perkins . All three will now be passed on for consideration for national Academic All-America voting. Murphy is a repeat honoree after she also earned this award at the end of the 2022-23 season, while O’Connor and Perkins are first time honorees.
