Women’s Golf Finshes Second at Rain-Shortened Capitol Hill Classic
New York University’s 17th-ranked women’s golf team finished in second place at the rain-shortened Capitol Hill Classic, which was held at the par-72, 5,672-yard RTJ Golf Trail at Capitol Hill in Prattville, AL, on Monday-Tuesday, March 25-26. The Violets entered Tuesday’s final round in second place out of 12 teams after totaling 308 strokes on Monday. Heavy rain limited Tuesday’s round to only nine holes, but NYU held on for second place after shooting one-over par over those nine holes.
