Ash Selected as Back-to-Back Big South Track Athlete of the Week

CHARLOTTE – Charleston Southern had one of the student-athletes earn the Female Track Athlete of the Week award from the Big South Conference office on Wednesday afternoon. Jewel Ash was selected as the winner for the award, making it back-to-back weeks for her to receive the honor to kick off the outdoor spring season. This past weekend she finished second in the 400m hurdles with a sub-60 time of 59.93 in the event at the Weems Baskin Invitational hosted by South Carolina.
