Barton men’s volleyball comes up short on Senior Night to rival Mount Olive

WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's volleyball team (11-10, 5-6) fell to rival Mount Olive (14-8, 7-4), 3-0, on Senior Night Wednesday in a Conference Carolinas contest at Wilson Gymnasium. The Trojans defeated the Bulldogs by scores of 26-24, 25-20 and 25-19 to snap a five-match losing streak. Mount Olive was led by Hayden Frear (Colorado Springs, Colo.) with 12 kills while Jackson Lahey (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) added 38 assists and nine digs as the Trojans held a 44-29 edge in kills and limited the Bulldogs to a 0.075 hitting percentage in the setback.
