Baseball drops mid-week bout against Maine on the road
ORONO, Maine — The Husson University baseball team was back in action on the road Wednesday, falling to the University of Maine 11-4 in non-conference action. Maine (4-16) managed to take an early 2-0 lead on the Eagles with two runs in the bottom of the first inning, but Husson (2-5) held the Black Bears in check over the second and third inning, while adding a run in the top half of the third to pull within 2-1 of Maine.
