ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Gardner-Webb University women's lacrosse was bested in their Wednesday afternoon Big South opener to Winthrop University by a final score of 13-8. The Runnin' Bullogs tallied five second half goals ultimately coming up short against the Eagles. The 'Dawgs kept pace as Winthrop tallied three early goals.
