Issac McBride transferring: 5 possible landing spots
TULSA, Okla. (BVM) – The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles entered the 2023 NCAA Tournament with a lot of hype. They finished the regular season with a 30-5 record and an 18-0 record in conference play. Unfortunately, Oral Roberts was bounced in the first round by Duke.
Max Abmas and Connor Vanover were the team’s biggest stars, but Issac McBride was a big contributor as well. He averaged 11.8 points that season.
His teammates decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal following the season, but he stuck around and boosted his points per game to 19.8 this year. McBride, who initially signed with Kansas and then transferred to Vanderbilt before heading to Oral Roberts, now finds himself looking for a new school once again.
These five programs could be good landing spots for the mid-major veteran.
