Cox, a bruising back and outside linebacker, rushed for 135 yards and excelled in tackles. Newburyport also saw commitments from Grace Habib to Curry College for softball, boasting an impressive .474 batting average and Katie Conway to Ohio Wesleyan University for field hockey.
