Trinity Williams, Aria Myers, and Alejandra Zuniga from the NJIT women's basketball team have been selected for the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, an honor acknowledging their performance on the court and in the classroom. Zuniga, a sophomore from Madrid, Spain, maintained a 3.674 GPA, led the team in various statistical categories, and was named to the 2024 America East second-team. Myers, a senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering, achieved a 3.727 GPA and demonstrated consistent on-court contributions. Junior CyberPsychology major, Williams, secured a 4.0 GPA, excelled in blocks, rebounds, and scoring for the Highlanders. The honorees will now await the announcement of first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® selections on April 16, 2024.
