No. 7 Women’s Lacrosse Shuts Out Ferrum at Home

LEXINGTON, Va. – The seventh-ranked Washington and Lee University women’s lacrosse team shut out Ferrum College, 22-0, on Wednesday night. The Generals (8-3, 5-0 ODAC) extended their winning-streak to eight games with the ODAC victory over the Panthers (6-2, 2-1). HOW IT HAPPENED Hanna Bishop registered the game-winning goal with 13:58 on the clock. Walker McKnight then added a pair of unassisted goals at 11:03 (player-up) and at 10:10. Julia Thomson, Sophie Edwards and Caroline Foster followed with unassisted tallies to bring the score to 6-0.
