Ready to run it back: Maple Grove girls’ golf season preview

After dominating the girls’ golf season last year, the Crimson are ready to do it again. A year after winning all their nine-hole matches and taking first in three out of four 18-hole invites during the regular season, they smoked the competition during the section meet en route to the program’s first-ever state championship. They lost two seniors who competed in the state meet last year, sisters Julia and Maria Contreras but returned four All-Conference returners; McKenna Hogan, Amelia Morton, Payton Anderson and Annika Hendrickson.
