Veith Sets Women’s Tennis Wins Record as Rangers Top Scranton
MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women’s tennis won two of three doubles matches and three of the six singles contests en route to a 5-4 Landmark Conference victory over the University of Scranton on Wednesday in the Simon Forum. With the win, Ranger Head Coach Scott Veith became Drew’s all-time winningest women’s tennis coach. Veith, now in his seventh season at the Forest, has compiled 60 victories, one more than Ira Miller posted from 1998-2004, and has guided the Rangers to the last two Landmark Conference titles.
