Williams Earns SIAC Softball Player of the Week Award
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Wildcats lead-off hitter picked up an honor Tuesday. Fort Valley State's Mariah Williams earned the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week award as she led her team to a weekend sweep. Mariah sliced seven hits for a .412 batting average as she helped FVSU (17-12) to a 5-2 week of contests, including a 3-game winning series over Benedict College.
