Women’s Track and Field Ranked 16th in USTFCCCA National Poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Washington and Lee University women’s track and field team was ranked 16th in the first Outdoor Track and Field National Rating Index, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Tuesday afternoon. Whitworth University stands atop the poll with 306.44 points while Emory University (Ga.) sits in second with 279.68 points. Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) foe, the University of Lynchburg, was ranked third with 279.35 points, George Fox University followed the Hornets in fourth with 246.65 points while Williams College rounded out the top-five with 238.36 points.
