Cavarno picks up RMAC Golfer of the Week accolade

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Colorado Mesa University's Timmy Cavarno was named as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, it was announced on Thursday afternoon by conference officials. The redshirt sophomore from Redlands, California was the top RMAC golfer at this week's Midwestern State Invitational in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he tied for tenth out of a field of 92 golfers while leading the Mavericks to a fourth place finish as the top RMAC team on Monday and Tuesday.
