Florida Atlantic’s Women’s Track & Field Team Shines in Split Weekend Meets

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic’s women’s track & field team will split off into two squads in two different states, competing in the Pepsi Florida Relays and Raleigh Relays over the weekend. For the Owls, Jessica Hatch and Anna Rovirosa will take on Raleigh, hosted by N.C. State, with Hatch in the 3000m steeplechase and Rovirosa in the 1500m, both events on Friday. At the UF meet, Elyssa Toal and Leah Helms are set for Friday’s 1500m race while Jessica Lambert will look to maintain the American Athletic Conference’s top time in the 800m on Saturday.
