Johnson & Nelson Named CSC Academic All-District

MOORHEAD, Minn. (3/28/24)—Concordia MIAC All-Conference honorees Matt Johnson (Fergus Falls, Minn.) and Rowan Nelson (Melrose, Minn.) added another award to their résumé as both players were named to the College Sports Communicator’s (CSC) Academic All-District Team. The 2024 Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. A new format for the 2023-24 academic year, nominees must be a sophomore or better with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
