Lacrosse Takes a Beating with 23-1 Loss at Frostburg

The Wesleyan lacrosse team was thoroughly dominated by the home-standing Frostburg State Bobcats 23-1, Wednesday. Wesleyan didn't register its only goal until the very end of the game. With 1:57 remaining Erin Mobley kept the Bobcats from suffering a shutout. Frostburg scored 11 goals before the first quarter ended and went into the halftime locker room up 15-0. Wesleyan top scorers Mobley and Talia Berardo were shut down and starting goalie Ella Gomez gave up 20 goals in 50:45 of net minding.
