Marcus Hill enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (BVM) – Bowling Green standout guard Marcus Hill has entered the transfer portal following a tremendous junior season where he proved to be one of the best mid-major guards in all of college basketball.

Hill is an Illinois native who played high school basketball at Rockford Christian before going the JUCO route with Southern Union State Community College in Alabama where he became an NJCAA third-team All-American.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound guard returned to the Midwest with a seamless transition to Division I basketball this season, becoming a first-team All-MAC selection as he scored 698 points, the fifth-most in a single season in Bowling Green program history.

Overall, Hill played over 36 minutes per game for the Falcons, averaging 20.5 points, five rebounds, 2.6 assists and one steal while shooting 44.3% from the field. The talented guard continues to showcase elite scoring ability and should have the opportunity to take a step up in competition next season following his breakout at Bowling Green, despite noting that a return to the Falcons is still on the table.

Here are five potential landing spots for Hill after entering the transfer portal.
