The University of Illinois Springfield baseball team won a high-scoring game to start the series against Missouri S&T on Thursday afternoon. The Prairie Stars move to 15-11 on the year and 6-7 in the GLVC. The Miners drop to 14-12 on the season and 5-8 in conference play.
