University of the Incarnate Word Softball Hosts Texas A&M-Commerce in Southland Conference Series Rematch

SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word softball team will host Texas A&M- Commerce for another home Southland Conference series. The Cardinals are looking to enjoy a nice homestand after facing McNeese in Lake Charles, Louisiana. UIW was off to its best start in history and have faced a few challenges these last two weekends. Facing preseason title favorites, the McNeese Cowgirls, the Cardinals were swept. In this week’s midweek matchup against Texas Southern, UIW stayed even with both games being decided by one score.
