Baseball Scores 22 in League Win Over Bard
TROY, N.Y. – Junior Julian Scarpa led an offensive charge by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team on Friday afternoon, as he hit two home runs and collected six RBI as the Engineers defeated the Bard College Raptors by a final score of 22-12 in seven innings. Friday’s 34 combined runs are the most in a game for the Engineers since March 22, 2015 when they defeated Skidmore College in 10 innings by a final score of 19-16 in Auburndale, Florida.
