Cowboys Split Friday Doubleheader With Orediggers
Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowboys split Friday's double header with the Colorado School of Mines dropping the opener 4-12 and bouncing back to take the nightcap 3-2. In Friday's first game the Cowboys jumped to a 1-0 lead in their half of the fourth when Tucker Simpson scored on a wild pitch. The visiting Orediggers would tie the game in the fifth inning and push across three runs in the seventh to secure the 4-1 win.
