Despite Harris,Drake’s 6th straight win, Lopes fall at home

The No.16 Grand Canyon beach volleyball team closed the first match of the weekend Friday after falling to Arizona 3-2. The Lopes struggled in the first two flights of the match with the two pair and four pair both falling in the deciding third sets. The Lopes' No. 5 pair of graduate Mackenzie Harris and junior Jessica Drake have now won six straight matches after winning Saturday 21-19, 21-18.
