Isaacson, Lutzke win distance races at Dutch Invitational

PELLA – Men’s distance runners Fisher Isaacson and Noah Lutzke captured titles Thursday as the Rams opened the 2024 outdoor season with a select squad competing at the Central Dutch Invitational. Isaacson turned in an impressive victory in the 1500, beating 43 competitors with a time of 4:02.73. The junior took first by nearly three full seconds over Southwestern’s Chase Oates. Isaacson also placed third in the 800, crossing in 1:58.61. Lutzke cruised to a win in the 12-man 3000, clocking a personal record of 9:10.43.
