Jason Edwards enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
Kansas State Wildcats
Jerome Tang has found success through the transfer portal in his first couple of years as head coach at Kansas State and the program is likely to be active again this offseason. Last year, Tang took a chance on another North Texas star, Tylor Perry, who shined this season as the Wildcats’ leading scorer. Going back to the same pipeline is certainly possible with Perry out of eligibility and second-leading scorer Cam Carter recently entering the transfer portal. Kansas State has a top-50 point guard coming in with David Castillo and already has a talented young backcourt player on the roster with Dai Dai Ames. Edwards would provide more experience at this point than both of those players but could also coexist with them in the lineup just as Perry did with Carter this season.
