Men’s Volleyball Downs Roanoke on Senior Night, 3-1

NEWARK, NJ | The Rutgers-Newark men’s volleyball team punched its ticket to the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) Tournament this evening with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-21, 25-17, 25-21) victory over Roanoke College. Martin Chromulak and Lucas Blanco were each honored before the match with honorary action photos. Rutgers-Newark (14-10, 3-4) hit .184 as a team and tallied 49 kills while holding Roanoke (14-13, 1-6) to .089 hitting and 38 kills.
