Mission Hills’ Kyara Walter tops All-CIF San Diego Section girls basketball team

Girls basketball Player of the Year: Kyara Walter, Mission Hills Headed to Cal State Los Angeles, Walter led Mission Hills to the San Diego Section Open Division championship. She averaged 16.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per games and hit 40 percent of her 3-pointers. She played 124 career games for the Grizzlies and the team went 89-35 while playing against some of the best teams in the state.
