Softball Sweeps Home Twin Bill against Illinois College

The Big Blue softball team welcomed the Lady Blues of Illinois College on Friday, March 29 for a non-conference doubleheader at the Workman Family Softball Field. Millikin earned the sweep, winning game one 3-0 before finishing game two in the sixth inning by a score of 9-1. In game one, the score remained knotted at 0-0 until the sixth inning when a Leah Foreman RBI groundout scored Rylee Blake. Then, Ava Zukowski’s infield single scored pinch runner Charley Condill and Anna Enlow. Abby Willis went 2-for-3 at the plate in game one, and Blake was 1-for-1, also drawing two walks.…
