Stokes named PSAC Women’s Swimming Freshman of the Year

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- IUP women's swimmer Kasha Stokes was among the major award winners from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), named the Women's Swimming Freshman of the Year on Friday. Stokes earned a Honorable Mention All-American honor for her 13th-place finish in the 100 Backstroke at the 2024 NCAA Division II Swimming Championships. In her first year at the PSAC Championships, she scored 64 individual points and was the champion in the 100 and 200 Back as well as a member of the second place 200 Free and 200 Medley relays.
