Tennis Stumbles in Battles for the Oar

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Capital University tennis teams took on rival Otterbein on Friday in the Battle for the Oar. Unfortunately for the Comets, the oar will stay in Westerville this time around as both teams were shutout 9-0. WOMEN (CAP 0-9 OTT) The Comets got off to an unfortunate start in the doubles matches, dropping all three. Nicole Flock and Anna Fletcher would fall 8-4 in first doubles. Annika Hansen and Rachel Smith suffered a 8-1 loss in second doubles. And Amy Wright-Lovell and Jenny Rollins lost 8-0. Capital suffered a similar fate in the singles matches, losing 6-0.…
