Thunder track and field teams open outdoor season at North Central’s First Chance Invite

Naperville, Ill. – The Wheaton track and field teams competed at North Central College’s First Chance Invitational on Thursday and Friday. The Thunder men’s team finished fourth in an 11-team field and the Wheaton women placed sixth out of 10 teams. The North Central men’s team finished first in the men’s team standings with 172 points, UW-Whitewater was second with 128 points, followed by Carthage in third with 113.5 points, Wheaton scored 105.5 points in fourth place and Joliet Junior College was fifth with 53.5 points.
