Tre White enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

The Gamecocks made the NCAA Tournament for the second time in the last 20 seasons and the first under head coach Lamont Paris. However, their top two guard scorers won’t return next season as Meechie Johnson entered the transfer portal and Ta’Lon Cooper is out of eligibility. Paris would likely take interest in White not only for his scoring ability but his size. The Gamecocks had eight players on the roster who were between 6-6 and 6-8 in 2023-24, which White would fit into. If South Carolina wants to make back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, they’ll need to dip into the transfer portal and White would be a great addition.
