Women’s Tennis Defeats Southwest Baptist 4-2 Friday

ALLENDALE – The Grand Valley State women's tennis team opened up the weekend with a 4-2 nonconference win against Southwest Baptist Friday (Mar. 29) afternoon at Premier Athletic and Tennis Club. The Lakers improve to 8-6 on the season. GVSU claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Vasileia Griva and Rachel Sam tallied a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
