Alessa Maier shines as Javelinas face tough loss to No. 3 Midwestern State

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women’s tennis team closed out its ranked opponent road trip with a 1-6 loss to No. 3 Midwestern State on Saturday afternoon. The Javelinas (7-7, 1-4 LSC) suffer just their first 1-6 defeat of the season with their previous worst scoreline being only 2-5. The Mustangs (12-3, 4-0 LSC) pick up their fifth win in a row. Alessa Maier continues to prove dominant with another 2-0 performance on the day, the only wins for the Hogs against their top three opponent.
