AU men open outdoor season at NCC First Chance
The Aurora University men’s track and field team competed at the First Chance Invitational hosted by North Central College on March 28th and 29th. The Spartans placed 6th of 11 teams with 48.5 points. The Spartans were led on Thursday by Cris Valencia’s impressive run in the 10,000 meter. Valencia finished in second, and his new personal record of 32:32.10 improves on his third best time in Aurora history.
