BOULDER, Colo. – The Aztec lacrosse team fell to No. 22 Colorado 17-8 Saturday afternoon. Victoria Rankin led the Aztecs with three goals. The Buffaloes (7-3, 2-1) came out shooting in the first quarter, scoring six quick, unanswered goals, leading the Aztecs (1-11, 0-3) 11 to 1 after the first 15 minutes. In the next three quarters the Aztecs out-scored the Buffaloes 7-6 including an outstanding off-balance goal by Sara Toner in the third quarter.
