Barnes and Young Lead Huskies at SNHU Spring Invite
MANCHESTER, N.H. – Junior Zoe Barnes (New Gloucester, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) and sophomore Janiah Young (Perkinsville, Vt./Windsor) each won two events for University of Southern Maine women’s track & field team at Saturday’s SNHU Spring Invite. Barnes took first place in the shot put with a distance of 12.70m and won discus with a mark of 42.45m. Young won the 100 and 200 meters with a time of 13.01 and 26.51 seconds.
