Carrolton Breaks Discus Record at SNHU Spring Invite

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Graduate student William Carrolton (Bath, Maine/Morse) set a new record for the discus in his University of Southern Maine debut with a toss of 47.20m at the SNHU Spring Invite on Saturday. Carrolton broke the record of 46.58m set by Ben Willoughby in 1998. The Huskies won six total events on the day. Freshman Nick Garey (Minot, Maine/Poland Regional) and sophomore Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H) won events on the track.
