Chaps Have Strong Showing in Austin and San Marcos

AUSTIN, Texas - The Lubbock Christian Track and Field program had five top-10 finishes at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational this weekend. The Chaps held their own against some of the best competition in the country. Bryce Spencer placed third in the section B men's discus at Texas Relays finishing with a final mark of 52.86 meters. Spencer also had an impressive showing in the hammer throw posting a throw of 60.74 meters to finish in 12th place.
