Clarke Sets 100m Record At Monmouth Opener

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Lauryn Clarke set her second school record on Saturday, breaking the Loyola University Maryland track and field mark in the 100 meters to add to her indoor 60-meter record. Clarke ran a wind-legal time of 11.87 seconds at the Monmouth Opener to break the record set one year ago this weekend by Jamie Adams of 11.99. Clarke finished first among 41 sprinters entered in Saturday’s meet. She was also part of the 4×100-meter relay team that took second in 47.88 seconds.
