Collins, Thompson Highlight Women’s Track & Field Across Three States

TOWSON, Md., AUSTIN, Texas & RALEIGH, N.C. (March 30, 2024) – Howard University women’s track & field wrapped up the holiday weekend, competing in three events across three states: Towson Invitational (March 29); Raleigh Relays (March 28-30) and Texas Relays (March 27-30). TEXAS RELAYS Texas natives sophomore Lauren Thompson (Frisco) and graduate Kailei Collins (Houston) highlighted Easter weekend with incredible performances. Thompson won the 100-meter hurdle with a 13.61 time while Collins set a new school record in the 100-meter dash, clocking in at 11.42.
