Gardner-Webb Wins Series Finale Over Charleston Southern 6-1

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb University softball team bested Charleston Southern in their three-game series finale on Saturday by a final score of 6-1. The Runnin' Bulldogs had a pair of big innings that were the difference in the ballgame. The Buccaneers struck first in the third inning getting one across on an error. Gardner-Webb responded in the bottom of the third as Adrienne Visintine doubled to score Jailyn Tineo and Emily Garcia .
