Golden Eagles Excel on Second Day at CMU
PITTSBURGH, Pa. — The Golden Eagle track & field team wrapped their weekend at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday, winning one individual event and notching a handful of top-10 finishes. Mackenzie Carver had the highlight of the day for the Golden Eagles, winning the 800m by a half-second margin and posting one of the best times in the conference in the process. Carver broke the tape in a time of 2:17.20, coming in 0.52 seconds ahead of Carnegie Mellon’s Isabella Rhee.
