Grambling State Splits Doubleheader at UAPB
PINE BLUFF, Ark. | The Grambling State University softball team split Saturday’s doubleheader at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, winning game one 7-1 before falling in the second game 3-0 at the Torii Hunter Softball Complex. Game One Jordan Hodge (3-2) earned the win on the mound for Grambling State. She pitched 3.1 innings, holding the Golden Lions to one run on four hits with one strikeout. Dacia Richard supplemented her performance, coming out of the bullpen and holding UAPB scoreless over 3.2 innings. Richards fanned six batters and allowed just two hits.
