Men’s Tennis Defeated By No. 35 CNU

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Shenandoah University men’s tennis team was defeated by No. 35 Christopher Newport University, 7-2, on Saturday afternoon in the team’s second match in as many days. The Hornets (8-5) picked up two points in singles competition but the Captains (8-3) were led to victory after taking a 3-0 advantage at the end of doubles. Artem Babaiev got one of the wins today for SU with his 6-4, 6-1 decision on court two. Babaiev has won four of his last five singles matches and had nine wins overall on the season.
