Men’s Track & Field Begins Outdoor Season at Hamilton

CLINTON, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men’s track & field team began it’s 2024 outdoor season today at the Hamilton Outdoor Invitational. The Engineers collected three individual victories and a relay win on the day, with Cortez Garrett highlighting the afternoon with first place finishes in the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles. Garrett posted winning times of 15.26 and 57.17 seconds, respectively, in the two events. Tristan Mangin had a strong day for the Engineers in the field, as he finished first in the javelin (54.43 meters), second in the discus (40.31m), and seventh in the shot put (13.11m). A…
