ABINGTON, PA – The Cairn University Men’s Tennis team opened United East Conference play on Saturday at Penn State – Abington as the Nittany Lions shutout the Highlanders in a rain-shortened 7-0 match. DOUBLES PLAY Graduate student Timothy Robinson Jr. (Cinnaminson, NJ / Cinnaminson) and senior Michael Wilson (New Hope, PA / New Hope-Solebury) led off in #1 singles, coming up short as they battled to an 8-4 defeat. Sophomore Daniel Stange (Langhorne, PA / Bucks County Technical) and freshman Joshua Nacy (Puebla, Mexico / Michigan Connections Academy) came up just short in #3 doubles, dropping the matchup 8-6.
