No. 17 baseball sweeps EMU on the road

Harrisonburg, Va. — The University of Lynchburg baseball team swept EMU on the road on Saturday winning game one 22-12 and game two 8-3. Lynchburg came out strong putting up three runs in the top of the 1st. Eric Hiett started the scoring with an RBI double bringing home Brandon Garcia . EMU kept in-stride with Lynchburg’s offense, scoring in each of the first six innings, including a four-run 4th inning. This gave the Monarchs their only lead of the game at 8-5.
